MicrocosmAI is a research initiative led by Julius Mayer, comprising enthusiastic researchers and students from the University of Osnabrück, Europe, and all over the world. We’re dedicated to advancing the field of AI with our research and development in the open-source domain, building frameworks for training multi-agent simulations in physical environments.

MicrocosmAI is also involved in teaching at the University of Osnabrück, including the EBIMAS study project, as well as thesis supervision, courses, and individual projects. On this platform, we highlight especially innovative student projects on our blog.

Apart from that, MicrocosmAI regularly participates in public events with science communication to explain our research to technical and non-technical audiences, bridging the gap between complex AI research and the broader community, fostering understanding and transparency in AI.
